Het Geoplasma model:

Time to start the Geoplasma Model, in which the Earth-system is described in terms of the ideas incorporated into the body of scientific knowledge known, generically, as the physics of the plasma universe, as presented by Anthony Peratt, after Alfven.

Basic Assumptions

The Universe has always existed
Newton’s Laws are valid
The laws of Heaviside, Maxwell and Lorentz are valid
Electrical forces are larger than gravitational forces by a factor of 10^39
The Earth can be considered as a leaky electric capacitor which has a bi-modal surface shell comprised of a highly electrically conductive liquid phase, the oceans, and a less electrically conductive land mass which the oceans surround.
The earth is quasi-magnetic in the sense that it has a geomagnetic field, whose origin remains moot.
The Earth stores electrical energy internally and energy inputs/outputs depend on the electrical potential difference between the earth and the plasma cell it is immersed in
Under a steady state system, the Earth is considered to be in electro-dynamic equilibrium with the space plasma it is immersed
Under changing states of the space plasma, the Earth will, in the case of a rising, or increasing, space plasma state, accumulate electric charge internally to maintain equilibrium with its environment. It will discharge electric charge when the space plasma it is immersed in, drops in electric potential with respect to the Earth system.
Electric discharges in the Earth-system might manifest as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes as subterranean analogs of atmospheric lightning
